Interventions Unlimited, Inc. is proud to offer two intensive ABA summer programs for children with language, behavioral and learning difficulties. The programs are also open to siblings or children without special needs. Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), our dedicated and trained staff will teach communication, classroom readiness, and social interaction skills. We offer:
- Structured and natural environment teaching
PROGRAM ONE: AGES 3-6
This program will focus on increasing your child’s classroom readiness skills, verbal behavior, and social skills.
Schedule:
June 15, 2009 - July 31, 2009, Monday - Friday
Morning Sessions: 9am - 12pm
Afternoon Sessions: 1pm - 4pm
Activities:
Small Group Activities: Children learn to follow instructions, attend to tasks, and interact with peers in a group setting.
Circle Time: Children learn to participate in group activities with peers such as music time, story time, and dance time.
Shared Time with Peers: Children learn to respond to their peers and engage in play activities with peers.
All activities are developed to help your child increase his or her verbal communication, improve his or her classroom behavior, and increase social interaction with peers.
PROGRAM TWO: AGES 7-13
This program will provide a structured social environment that integrates a variety of fun activities, incidental teaching, and direct instruction with an emphasis on improving your child’s social awareness, and his or her interactions with peers.

June 15, 2009 - July 31, 2009, Monday - Friday
Morning Sessions: 9am - 12pm
Afternoon Sessions: 1pm - 4pm
Activities:
Play Group Names: The activity is a team effort for the children to come up with a group name. This simple activity will allow children to identify with one another as members of the same play group.
Cooperative Activities: Children learn to discover the advantages of collaboration to overcome obstacles or challenges as they work together to achieve a common goal.
Social Communication Cues: Children learn verbal and nonverbal social cues that will allow them to interact with their peers more effectively without relying on adult assistance.
All the activities are designed to promote making friends, developing self-esteem, and having fun!
Weekly fee for half day sessions: $150
Tuition is due in full for the entire 7 weeks at the time of registration.
Registration fee:
$40.00 on or before April 1, 2009
$60.00 after April 1, 2009
Your child can register for both morning and afternoon sessions(9am-4pm) with a weekly fee of $300.00.
