| Our Staff We have a team of over 30 behavior analysts, behavior therapists, special educators and Infant Toddler Developmental Specialists. Our staff are highly skilled, experienced, dedicated, and caring professionals. All our behavior analysts hold state or national Board Certification in applied behavior analysis. Some of them also hold credentials in exceptional education. Our therapists also have years of experience working with persons who have learning and behavioral difficulties. Our teachers are trained in teaching children with autism and children with other developmental disablities using effective teaching methods based on the priciples of ABA. They are also trained in verbal behavior. |

Jing Zhou, M.S., BCBA, President and Executive Director Jing Zhou is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her M.S. in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She has extensive experience working with individuals with autism, Asperger's Syndrome, mental handicaps, traumatic brain injury, emotional disabilities, and other developmental disabilities. She specializes in setting up verbal behavior programs, teaching functional communication and social skills, decreasing severe problem behaviors, as well as school and inclusion consultation. Jing has given numerous presentations at state and national conferences. She has also conducted countless workshops and training sessions for educators, direct-care staff, home-therapy teams, parents, and other caregivers in the United States and in other countries. She holds memberships in the Association for Behavior Analysis, Florida Association for Behavior Analysis, Autism Society of America, and the Council for Exceptional Children. Jing has over sixteen years experience working in home, school, community, and residential settings. She has extensive experience setting up home and school programs, and training parents and school staff to carry out these programs. Jing has developed many services to meet the diffenrent needs of children and their families. She ensures that Interventions Unlimited continues to provide high-quality educational and behavoral programs. Wendy Zeballos, M.S., BCBA, Director of Clinical Services, Principal of Interventions Unlimited Academy Our Teachers: Julie Neaman, B.A., Teacher and Behavior Therapist Julie Neaman graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Psychology. She has her teaching certifications in Exceptional Student Education and Elementary Education. Julie has 7 years of experience working with children who have varying degrees of autism or other developmentally disabilities using Applied Behavior Analysis. Julie has worked as a 1:1 ABA therapist in the clinic and home settings. For the last 4 years she has worked as an ESE teacher for children with learning disabilities, autism or other delays. She is currently working to receive her Autism Spectrum Disorder certificate from the University of Central Florida. Lela Taylor, B.A., BCABA, Teacher and Behavior Analyst Lela is a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida. She is expecting to receive her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2009 and to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Lela has experience working with both children and adults with developmental disabilities. She also has provided trainings to school staff, teachers, and foster caregivers concerning the implementation of behavior analytic principles. Nicole Long, B.A., Teacher Janna Grace Foster, B.S., Teacher Janna Grace Foster is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and a minor in psychology. She is ESE certified in grades K-12, and has also acquired her Professional certificate in April 17, 2008. She was confirmed to be a “highly qualified” teacher according to the “No Child Left Behind Act.” Before returning to Florida, Janna worked at The Katherine Thomas School (a school for children with special needs), in Rockville, MD. She worked with children of “varying exceptionalities,” ranging from emotionally disturbed to autistic. Janna’s experience in Florida includes working as an ESE/SLD Resource teacher for grades K-5; teaching first and second grade students with varying exceptionalities in reading and math; as well as working as an ED teacher (Emotionally Disturbed) in the public school system. She began her journey at Interventions Unlimited, Inc. in June 0f 2008, working as a camp counselor for the summer camp. Janna believes “It should NEVER be said that nothing can be done for the welfare and education of children.” Aliza Daya Castillo, M.S., Teacher and Behavior Therapist Aliza Daya Castillo has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for 9 years. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Carleton University in Ottawa Ontario, Canada. She then moved to Boston to accept a position with the new England Center for Children, where she had the opportunity to work in many different environments with children and adults from highly behavioral and very intensive to residential and day school programs. While in Massachusetts, Aliza obtained her Masters of Science degree with a certification in Special Education (K-12). She then moved back to her hometown of Toronto Canada where she worked in a home-based program that provided children with 1:1 therapy. She then moved to Florida and began working as a teacher here at Interventions Unlimited. Aliza has worked in a wide variety of situations and hopes to pursue her BCBA certification in the near future. Rebecca Mischuck, B.S., Teacher and Behavior Therapist Rebecca Mischuck graduated from Presbyterian College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minored in both Special Education and English. She is currently a teacher at our school and a behavior therapist. Rebecca has 5 years experience working as an ABA therapist. She has worked with children and adults with severe mental disabilities. Rebecca plans on taking the board certification exam to become a Certified Associate Behavior Analyst while also pursing a Masters Degree. Our Behavior Analysts and Therapists: Shannon Alexander, B.A., BCABA, Behavior Analyst Shannon Alexander came from Ormond Beach, Fl. She has been an employee with Interventions Unlimited since the year 2000. She graduated with her B.A. from Palm Beach Atlantic College in 1997 and became a Certified Associate Behavior Analyst in 2002. She has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for 10 years. Prior to joining Interventions Unlimited, Shannon had worked at another behavioral service facility as an ABA therapist. Shannon’s experience includes working with children and adults with autism or other developmental disabilities in clinic, school, and home/community settings. She has worked with individuals who have severe challenging behaviors such as aggression, property destruction, and self-injurious behaviors. Holly Trosino, M.S., BCBA, Behavior Analyst Rachel Little, B.A., Behavior Therapist and Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist Rachel Little graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She started her career as an ABA therapist under the direction of Lovaas Institute for Early Learning in Atlanta. After leaving Lovaas Institute, she worked privately with families who had ABA programs created for their children by ABA consultants. Rachel joined Interventions Unlimited in 2005. She primarily works with children under the ages of 3 and their families. Charles Baldwin Jr., B.S., BCABA, Behavior Analyst Charles Baldwin Jr. received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bethune-Cookman College in 1998. Charles has worked with children and adolescents for ten years and has been working as a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst for about 4 years. He has worked with children and parents in their homes, students and teachers in schools, and patients and technicians in residential facilities. Charles has completed functional behavior assessments and assisted teachers in implementing behavior intervention plans for various students in the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) program. Charles has developed and implemented plans for students with exceptionalities such as conduct disorder, bipolar, depression, autism, asperger’s, pervasive developmental disorder, ADHD, mental retardation, learning disabilities, etc. Charles has worked in group homes with adults diagnosed with mental retardation. It is Charles’ goal to continually sharpen his knowledge and skills to better serve children and the community. |
